Boys’ basketball: Corona Centennial to face Roosevelt in Big VIII League showdown

First place will be on the line in the Big VIII League on Tuesday at 6:15 p.m. when Corona Centennial (16-6, 5-1) hosts Eastvale Roosevelt (18-5, 6-0).
Both teams are likely to be selected for the Southern Section Open Division playoffs, so it’s an important game for seeding purposes.
Centennial is finally healthy, which means 6-foot-10 UCLA-bound Ike Anigbogu will be a force inside.
Roosevelt has been surging behind Cal commit Jemarl Baker, a junior guard.
