Boys’ basketball: King-Drew begins action as No. 1 seed in City Section Division II

With Gardena being selected for the City Section Open Division, King-Drew begins action on Wednesday at home against Bravo as the No. 1 seeded team in Division II.
The Golden Eagles are 15-9. Hamilton is seeded No. 2 with Marshall No. 3 and Grant No. 4.
Samoore Riley, a 6-foot-4 senior, is averaging 15.9 points and 5.2 rebounds.
Josiah Breda-Nixon, another 6-4 senior, is averaging 13.1 points and 7.8 rebounds.
