Boys’ basketball: Max Hazzard commits to UC Irvine
He scores 16 of his 24 points; Cubs win, 60-59

Standout senior point guard Max Hazzard said Tuesday he has committed to UC Irvine.
Hazzard, the grandson of former UCLA Coach Walt Hazzard, is expected to be one of the top point guards in the Southland this coming season.
His brother, Jacob, plays at Arizona.
