Boys’ basketball: Santa Margarita to make run at Mater Dei

Santa Margarita is gearing up to make a run at Santa Ana Mater Dei in the Trinity League basketball competition.
Coach Jeff Reinert returns four starters from a 19-8 team.
Guards Kaden and Noah Rasheed, along with three-year starter Colin Ferrier and 6-foot-8 junior Garrett Thompson provide the Eagles with lots of firepower.
Santa Margarita also has Tesoro transfer Adrease Jackson, 6-7 freshman Jake Kyman and 6-7 sophomore Jordan Guest.
