Boys’ basketball: Thomas Welsh could make decision this week
- Share via
One of the best uncommitted basketball players in Southern Californa, 7-foot center Thomas Welsh of Los Angeles Loyola, could make a college decision this week.
The first day to sign an early letter of intent is Wednesday. Welsh has made official and unofficial visits in recent weeks to UCLA, California and Stanford.
The most high profiled uncommitted player of all is Mater Dei’s Stanley Johnson, the reigning Southern California player of the year.
He has visited Kentucky and Arizona. USC is also making a strong push. He’s expected to wait until April to sign.
