Football: 12 sacks and counting for Charter Oak’s Eric Prevost

Senior defensive end Eric Prevost of Covina Charter Oak is having a season to remember. He has 12 sacks in five games. And that’s despite opponents knowing they must block him to succeed.
“He’s the best kid we’ve ever put on the field for a defensive player,” veteran Coach Lou Farrar said.
Prevost, 6 feet 2, 225 pounds, is also a champion wrestler. He has great technique and loves getting to the quarterback.
UNLV, Nevada and UTEP are among the schools that have offered Prevost a scholarship.
