Football: 19 consecutive wins for St. John Bosco in the Trinity League
- Share via
Of all the statistics that make the St. John Bosco football program look good under Coach Jason Negro, the one that really stands out is the 19 consecutive Trinity League wins.
Remember, the Trinity League is considered the strongest in Southern California, if not the state. St. John Bosco (8-0, 3-0) hasn’t lost a league game since 2011. Servite’s 19-game win streak in league was matched in the Braves’ 61-7 win over JSerra.
Quarterback Quentin Davis passed for 311 yards and five touchdowns.
For the eighth consecutive game, officials were required to use a running clock in the fourth quarter. It’s the mercy rule when a team leads by 35 or more points.
That’s another indication of the depth and talent of this year’s team.
