South Pasadena High will be rocking on Friday night when two unbeaten teams face off for first place in the Rio Hondo League.
It’s South Pasadena (7-0, 2-0) taking on San Marino (7-0, 2-0). It’s a true neighborhood game matching public schools that have had rebuilding years in the past but have put it all together this season to have special teams.
Quarterback Michael Partida leads South Pasadena.
San Marino has a dynamic passing duo in quarterback Carson Glazier (2,191 yards passing, 28 TDs) and receiver J.P. Shohfi (47 catches, 1,014 yards, 14 touchdowns).
The players, fans, coaches and student bodies are fired up. San Marino is ranked No. 2 in the Central Division. South Pasadena is unranked.
