Football: Lompoc is facing 190-mile, three-hour trip to Etiwanda

Correction: It’s Lompoc, not Etiwanda, facing a 190-mile road trip on Friday night for a Southern Section Division 4 quarterfinal playoff game.
Lompoc will travel to Etiwanda. That’s 190 miles one way and more than three hours in traffic.
The school should hold a competition on what movies players should watch on the bus ride to Etiwanda. My recommendations would be “Remember the Titans” and “Hoosiers.”
Lompoc is 11-0. Etiwanda is 5-6.
