There are 41 college bowl games, and former Southern California high school standouts are off to a great start in making an impact.
Kenny Potter (San Pedo High, Long Beach CC and San Jose State) and Tevin Carter (Santee, L.A. Southwest Collge and Utah) have already been named bowl MVPs.
On Wednesday, former Santa Margarita receiver Jeremy McNichols had three touchdowns for Boise State in a rout of Northern Illinois in the Poinsettia Bowl.
