Football: QBs Vernon Adams, Bryan Bennett have college teams excited

Vernon Adams, an Alemany High grad, and Bryan Bennett, a Crespi grad, are far from home. They’re the quarterbacks at Eastern Washington and Southeastern Louisiana, respectively, and their teams are ranked No. 2 and No. 3 in the preseason FCS rankings.
Imagine if the two former high school standouts from the San Fernando Valley get to meet for a national championship this fall?
Bennett, a senior, transferred from Oregon. Adams will be a junior at Eastern Washington.
