Football: Sherman Oaks CES wins City Section eight-man title

Gabriel Rodriguez scored four touchdowns to lead Sherman Oaks CES to the City Section eight-man football championship with a 52-34 win over East Valley on Saturday night.
Running back Victor Silva scored two touchdowns. Quarterback Dennilson Mirafuentes passed for two touchdowns, including a 65-yard pass to Miles Griffin.
It’s the first football title for SOCES.
