Football: St. Francis now has three-way competition at quarterback

Jim Bonds was a quarterback at UCLA and his ability to develop quarterbacks as the football coach at St. Francis is apparently attracting aspiring quarterbacks.
In the spring semester, St. Francis has accepted two QB transfers: junior Erik Zimmerman from Sherman Oaks Notre Dame and sophomore Darius Perrantes from Crespi.
They will join junior Greg Dlcich, last season’s backup, in competing for the starting job in the fall.
“They’ll compete and we’ll see who has best chance to help us win,” Bonds said.
