Football: St. John Bosco clinches Trinity League championship

Unbeaten St. John Bosco clinched its second consecutive Trinity League championship on Friday night with a 24-2 victory over Mater Dei.
Coupled with a 48-43 Servite loss to JSerra, every team in the Trinity now has at least two losses compared to the Braves, who are 9-0 and 4-0.
Sean McGrew rushed for 132 yards in 18 carries. He had a 49-yard touchdown run and a 33-yard touchdown catch.
Mater Dei (7-2, 2-2) struggled on offense without injured running back Justin Allen. Chase Forrest was 14 of 29 for 140 yards with one interception.
Josh Rosen completed nine of 15 psses for 105 yards.
