Football: The new star quarterback is Deommodore Lenoir of Salesian
- Share via
Deommodore Lenoir of Salesian is committed to Oregon as a defensive back. But when Salesian lost quarterback Robbie Blosser to an injury, he gladly stepped in as a replacement. And what a quarterback he has become.
He scored five touchdowns on Saturday night in Salesian’s 58-20 win over Bishop Diego in a Southern Section Division 5 playoff opener. He rushed for 185 yards and passed for 91 yards.
There are some Angelus League coaches grateful Lenoir didn’t become the quarterback until the last two league games. His speed and versatility gives Salesian some unpredictability on offense.
