Soccer: Callum Stretch, 16, signs with Aston Villa F.C.

No more high school for Callum Stetch, a 16-year-old from Encino who attended Sherman Oaks Notre Dame.
He has signed a two-year contract with English soccer club Aston Villa F.C. and will play for Aston Villa’s U18 team this fall in the town of Birmingham.
The 6-foot-3 Stretch was supposed to be a senior this fall at Notre Dame but moved to the United Kingdom this summer. He has dual citizenship.
He has played for the L.A. Galaxy Youth Academy and was selected for the U.S. National U18 team.
