Track season begins with Eagle Invitational at Santa Margarita

Are you ready for some track and field?
The season kicks off on Saturday with the Eagle Invitational at Santa Margarita.
Among the teams participating is Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, which returns junior sprinter Trevor Reid (10.75 100 meters) and Leo Lambert. Both are part of a strong Mission League sprint group led by Alemany’s Dominic Davis and Chaminade’s TJ Brock.
There’s a showdown dual meet between Alemany and Notre Dame set for March 5 at Notre Dame. Let’s just say the sprinters will rule.
The Southern Section is loaded with top sprinters and shot putters.
The big regular-season meet is the Arcadia Invitational on April 11 at Arcadia High.
