Track: State championships will start later because of heat concerns

In anticipation of triple digit temperatures this weekend for the CIF state track and field championships at Buchanan High School in Clovis, the CIF has moved back the start times for running races on Friday and Saturday.
On Friday, the first running race will begin at 6:15 p.m. It was originally scheduled for 5 p.m.
On Saturday for the finals, the first running race will begin at 7 p.m. It was originally scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
