Volleyball: Palisades win City Section Division I title

Palisades pulled out a five-set victory over Carson on Saturday night to win the City Section Division I volleyball championship.
The Dolphins had to survive a Carson comeback attempt in winning, 25-21, 25-21, 21-25, 17-25, 15-12.
Shane Stoklos contributed lots of key plays for the Dolphins. He’s the son of former Dolphins standout Randy Stoklos. It was the 13th boys’ title for the Dolphins, whose girls’ program won title No. 29 in the fall.
