Football: De La Salle cruises past Servite, 35-10 [Video]

John Velasco rushed for four touchdowns as Concord De La Salle dominated Anaheim Servite, 35-10, in tonight’s intersectional showdown at Santa Ana Stadium.
Servite trailed 28-0 at halftime but managed to score 10 points against the Spartans’ reserves in the fourth quarter. The Friars (3-2) committed three turnovers and failed to score in three trips inside the 5-yard line.
Servite must forget this loss quickly because it opens Trinity League play next Friday against undefeated Santa Ana Mater Dei at Angel Stadium.
