The Kings have lost their top two scorers, Anze Kopitar and Justin Williams, to injuries. Dustin Penner, a trade-deadline pickup from Edmonton, has two goals in 14 games since the trade and has not scored a point in the last seven games. The Stars’ playoff hopes are slipping away after one win in their last eight games, including a 6-0 loss at San Jose on Thursday.
