UCLA might be without forward Travis Wear for USC game

UCLA may be without Travis Wear, its best big man, for Sunday’s game at USC.
Wear, a 6-foot-10 junior, injured his right foot during practice on Saturday. He is listed as doubtful for the game.
Wear was returning to the lineup after a concussion when the Bruins and Trojans met the first time in Pac-12 Conference play. USC won the game, 75-71.
The Trojans’ size hurt the Bruins in that game. USC held a 44-36 edge in rebounding.
The Trojans, who have three 7-foot centers, consistently denied UCLA players paths to the basket.
Wear is the Bruins’ third-leading scorer at 11.6 points a game and he’s their second-leading rebounder at 5.4 a game.
