Three thoughts for the coming week:

There was a time when Louisville-Houston looked like a huge matchup. Not anymore, but the College Football Playoff No. 6 Cardinals will probably need a convincing win to keep their playoff hopes alive.
No. 11 Oklahoma and No. 16 West Virginia meet in Morgantown, WVa., to decide which Big 12 team still has an outside shot at the national title.
This hasn’t been a great season for the Pac-12 power establishment, but this Saturday brings together two pleasant surprises, No. 12 Colorado and No. 23 Washington State.
