Injured Clippers starting to get healthy

This may be the week when the Clippers finally become a whole team.
Shooting guard J.J. Redick (bruised left quad) and rookie guard Reggie Bullock (injured right knee) both practiced Monday for the first time during training camp. But small forward Matt Barnes (sore left calf) still hasn’t practiced all training camp.
“We have some guys injured and we’ve had them all camp,” Clippers Coach Doc Rivers said before the team’s practice.
There is some hope that Redick, Bullock and Barnes will play this week.
The Clippers play the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night at Staples Center and finish the exhibition season Friday night against the Sacramento Kings at home.
Redick has been pushing to play, but the team has been cautious with him. Redick and Bullock both may play against the Jazz.
“The only concern really is that we just haven’t had our guys for most of the camp and that’s a major concern for me,” Rivers said. “It’s more difficult when it’s your team for the first time. If this team had been together for four or five years, then you don’t care when guys get hurt. But we haven’t.”
Also, the Clippers waived forward Brandon Davies on Monday. The Clippers now have a 15-man roster.
