President Obama’s brother-in-law is apparently out of a job with multiple news outlets reporting Monday that Craig Robinson has been fired as Oregon State basketball coach.
Robinson had a 94-105 record in six seasons in Corvallis and failed to lead the Beavers to the NCAA tournament. He has three years remaining on his contract and is reportedly owed $4 million by the school.
Robinson is the brother of First Lady Michelle Obama. He introduced his sister at the 2008 Democratic National Convention.
Robinson won 18 games his first season, 2008-09, but ended up finishing up with a 39-69 record in Pac-12 play. The Beavers must replace all five starters.
Oregon State ended the season at 16-16 with a loss to Radford in the post-season CBI tournament.
