Hope Solo’s husband reportedly driving U.S. Soccer van when arrested

Hope Solo’s husband, Jerramy Stevens, was driving a U.S. Soccer van when he was arrested on DUI charges early Monday morning, according to multiple media reports.
TMZ was first to report the story, which has been confirmed by Sports Illustrated’s Grant Wahl.
Solo was suspended 30 days from the U.S. national soccer team and sent home for disciplinary reasons the day after her husband’s arrest.
The fact that Stevens, a former tight end for the Seattle Seahawks, was driving a team van was the primary reason for the suspension, according to TMZ.
Wahl reports that the suspension has to do with more than one recent incident involving Solo, who was in the vehicle at the time of her husband’s arrest but was not charged in the incident.
Monday’s incident occurred less than a week after domestic abuse charges against Solo were dismissed by a judge in Washington state. Solo was not sanctioned by U.S. Soccer in that case because she was not on assignment with the national team camp and the facts in the matter were in dispute.
