Another indicator that a lot is expected of UCLA this season.
The Associated Press has the Bruins seventh in its pre-season poll. It’s the highest pre-season ranking for UCLA since 1998, when the Bruins started the year sixth.
Florida State is the top-ranked team in the poll. The Seminoles have been everyone’s choice to be No. 1 so far.
Among Pac-12 teams, Oregon is ranked third, Stanford 11th, USC 15th, Arizona State 19th and Washington 25th.
