Update: USC has played Kansas three times since the 2007 season, losing each one by 10 points or fewer. Kansas guard Tyshawn Taylor, who averages 15.8 points a game, had arthroscopic knee surgery Dec. 11. He returned eight days later to score 15 points in the Jayhawks’ 80-74 loss to Davidson. Kansas’ previous two losses were to No. 3 Kentucky by 10 points and to No. 7 Duke by seven points. USC has allowed 80 or more points five times in the first 76 games under Coach Kevin O’Neill.
