Lamont Simmons, a defensive back who redshirted last season as a freshman, will transfer, USC said on its website.
Simmons, 6 feet 2 and 185 pounds, came to USC from Raines High in Jacksonville, Fla.
Simmons is the third player from the 2014 recruiting class no longer with the program.
Rahshead Johnson, a defensive back and receiver who redshirted, departed after the season.
Tight end Bryce Dixon, who caught four touchdown passes, is no longer enrolled at USC in the aftermath of an unspecified student-conduct issue.
Linebacker Uchenna Nwosu was suspended from the Holiday Bowl for a violation of team rules and was not enrolled for the spring semester. But he is taking summer classes, can participate in workouts and is expected to be on the roster for training camp.
USC opens the season Sept. 5 against Arkansas State.
