USC cornerback Kevon Seymour moving forward after Arizona State defeat

Most of the focus concerning USC’s loss against Arizona State centered on the Hail Mary pass on the final play.
But the Trojans surrendered three touchdowns in the final four minutes of the 38-34 defeat.
“We’re going to remember it, but we’re using it as motivation,” cornerback Kevon Seymour said Wednesday. “We can’t let something like that happen again.”
Seymour tried to break up a short first-down pass and got burned by receiver Cameron Smith for a 73-yard touchdown that pulled Arizona State to within striking distance, 34-32, and set the stage for the Hail Mary.
“I was by myself, and if you come under, you’ve got to make a play,” Seymour said, adding that he was thinking, “I see this. I’m going to knock this down and we’re going to be good.
“I just misjudged the ball.”
Seymour said he would learn from the error.
“I just made a mistake,” he said. “You live and you learn.”
