USC’s Leonard Williams named to coaches All-America team

USC defensive lineman Leonard Williams was selected to the American Football Coaches Assn. All-America team, the organization announced Wednesday.
Williams, a junior from Florida, was previously announced as a first-team All-American by ESPN.com and Fox Sports.
Williams was a second-team selection by the Associated Press and the Walter Camp Foundation.
Williams, 6-foot-5 and 300 pounds, is regarded as a top NFL prospect and is expected to make himself available for the 2015 draft.
USC plays Nebraska in the Holiday Bowl on Dec. 27 at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego.
The Trojans resumed practice Wednesday.
