Mark Sanchez and Matt Barkley see pre-season action in Philadelphia

Former Trojans quarterbacks Mark Sanchez and Matt Barkley both played in the Philadelphia Eagles 31-21 pre-season win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday.
Sanchez, now in his sixth NFL season, took over from Eagles starter Nick Foles in the third quarter. Sanchez led two scoring drives, finishing 7-of-9 for 85 yards.
In three pre-season games, the 2009 first-round pick is 25-of-31 for 281 yards, including two touchdowns and an interception. He currently ranks seventh on the NFL’s passing leaders list.
Barkley started the fourth quarter and played one offensive series. He finished 4-of-4 for 37 yards.
An Eagles fourth-round pick in 2013, Barkley is 20-of-32 for 242 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in the pre-season.
The Eagles’ final pre-season game is Thursday, when Sanchez will face his former team, the New York Jets.
