USC has circled back to Gardena Serra defensive back Brandon Burton.
“Blessed to have been re-offered by USC and their new coaching staff #FightOn,” Burton wrote on Twitter on Monday.
Burton was scheduled to release a Bleacher Report video last Saturday to announce his commitment, but postponed his decision.
The 6-foot, 185-pound Burton was reportedly set to choose between Florida State and UCLA.
Serra’s C.J. Pollard, Burton’s teammate, is the lone defensive back committed to USC’s 2016 recruiting class. Serra defensive lineman Oluwole Betiku also is committed to the Trojans.
