Darnell Taylor, a 6-foot-4 guard who last played high school basketball for Crenshaw in 2011, has signed with Fresno State. His journey is an interesting one.
He was highly regarded in high school. Known for his leaping ability and off-the-chart athleticisim, he has been trying hard to qualify academically for college.
He played junior college basketball and signed with Boise State in 2012 out of Saddleback College but never ended up there. He sat out last season focusing on his academics at Saddleback.
