Food lovers will enjoy a 10-day culinary tour of Bali that includes exploring traditional local markets, sampling Balinese restaurants and experiencing hands-on cooking classes with local experts.
Other highlights include a visit to the sacred village of Sidemen and a guided walk through its rice paddies and gardens; a sunset photo op at Tanah Lot, one of Bali’s seven sea temples; a talk with local artisan producers of chocolate, tea and coffee; and a guided walk through the sacred Monkey Forest of Ubud to see the monkeys up close in their natural habitat.
Dates: Aug. 12-21 and Aug. 26-Sept. 4
Price: $1,875 per person, double occupancy. Includes accommodations, daily breakfast, seven lunches and six dinners, three cooking classes, private guides and transportation, admission fees. Four-night optional extension to Lombok Island is $800. International airfare not included.
