Tour takes cyclists from Portland, Ore., to Portland, Maine

Bike aficionados can tackle the bucket trip of a lifetime on a 45-day Portland, Ore., to Portland, Maine, tour organized by Trek Travel. Cyclists will cover 3,700 miles, averaging 100 miles a day, with four rest days scheduled. Three guides and a massage therapist will accompany the group, which will visit the Lewis & Clark Trail in Washington, ride through the Black Hills of South Dakota and cycle through Pennsylvania’s Amish communities and the Allegheny National Forest.
