Nicaragua tour visits a volcano, a massive lake and Colonial city Granada

Climb a volcano, barter for handicrafts at an Indian market and take a cruise on the largest lake in Central America during this eight-day tour of Nicaragua, where culture, history and nature combine to offer visitors some of the hemisphere’s most diverse experiences.
Participants will crisscross the country, learning about the nation’s large nature reserves, volcanic peaks, rain forests and charming Colonial cities.
Tour highlights will include a visit to a coffee plantation and the Selva Negra Rainforest in the highlands of Matagalpa and a stay in Granada, the oldest continuously inhabited Colonial city in the Americas, on the shores of Lake Nicaragua.
