Museum tour to commemorate 75th anniversary of attack on Pearl Harbor

Seventy-five years after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, the National WWII Museum will sponsor a weeklong tour and four-part symposium focusing on the incidents leading up to that fateful day, Dec. 7, 1941.

The events, which will take place Dec. 1-8, 2016, will include visits to historic sites such as the USS Arizona Memorial, a private dinner on the deck of the USS Missouri and a ceremony commemorating the 75th anniversary of the attacks. There will be lectures by historians from the New Orleans’-based National WWII Museum, Hawaii Pacific University and other authorities on Hawaiian and Asia-Pacific history.
Dates: Dec. 1-8, 2016
Price: From $8,750 double occupancy (price is in effect until Jan. 12 then increases to $8.895), $10,990 single occupancy. Included are hotel accommodations, access to the four-part Pearl Harbor symposium, visits to sites and a dinner on the USS Missouri. Airfare is not included.
