Cyclists will have an opportunity to interact with local hill tribes — there are 22 ethnic minorities in the region — and bike to the towns of Sapa, surrounded on all sides by mountains, and Dong Van, known for its traditional Hmong homes.
Rides average 60 to 100 miles a day and include challenging climbs.
Dates: Oct. 16-25
Price: From $3,350 per person. Includes accommodations, breakfasts, most dinners, guides, bikes and helmets, van support, luggage transfers and private tours.
