preparatory courses.

Waldron was named first-team All-Golden West League in basketball

and football this season and is an outfielder on the Mustangs’

baseball team.

Havens played four years on Mesa’s girls volleyball team, earning

first-team all-league laurels her junior and senior seasons.

CIF issues the honor for seniors who have maintained at least a

3.5 GPA while taking college prep courses the previous three years.

Winners must have at least one varsity letter and participate in

extracurricular activities, such as music, dance and service

projects.

Team awards are given to Southern Section member schools in 23

sports. Winning schools must have maintained at least a cumulative

3.0 GPA for the first semester of the 2004-05 year.

The highest GPA in each sport determines the winner.
