The Sailors beat Oaks Christian for third place, while Laguna Beach took sixth. Elsewhere, CdM finished as runner-up in the Irvine Southern California Championships.

Nayan Martlin scored twice for Laguna Beach in a 3-0 win over visiting Sage Hill on Tuesday. The Breakers are in second place, behind University, in the Pacific Coast League.

Fountain Valley senior Khale McDonnell won the 215-pound title in the Five Counties tournament on Saturday in the Barons’ host event.
