The Los Angeles Equestrian Center in Burbank will be the stage
for the 205 International Andalusian and Lusitano Assn. Region 1
Championships from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the
equestrian center, 480 Riverside Drive, Burbank. The show will serve
as the site for funds and items needed by Hurricane Katrina victims.
Donations of clothing, bedding, children’s toys and horse and
pet-related items are desired. Admission to the show is free. The

The combined choirs of John Burroughs High School will be having a
Car Wash and Pancake Breakfast from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking

City of Burbank’s “80th Anniversary Celebration” Park, Recreation
and Community Services Exhibit opening reception from 1 to 4 p.m. at

Road’ers Car Club Car Show will be from 5 to 8 p.m. at Bob’s Big
Boy, 1407 W. Glenoaks Blvd., Glendale. This month’s theme is “Ford
Night” but all classics are welcome. There is no entry fee. There
will be a DJ playing music, and trophies and raffle prizes will be
awarded. A representative from the Glendale Fire Department will
there taking collections in a boot for Katrina Relief. For more

Harpist Harper Tasche will perform a recital at 7 p.m. at St.
Mark’s Episcopal Church, 1020 N. Brand Blvd., Glendale. The program
features a blend of European classical, Early Music, Scandinavian and
Celtic music along with contemporary storytelling. Included is a
premiere of “Intangibles,” for cross-string harp, organ and soprano
saxophone with organist James Wallace and saxophonist Lee Worley. For

Prival Productions presents “Annie” the Broadway hit musical
starring Mollie Crandell and Isabella Wingate, who are sharing the
lead role, in the show at the Gene Bua Theatre in Burbank.

The Stepping Stone Players present “The Music Man” by Meredith

A Noise Within launches its new season with Shakespeare’s
“Othello” starting in preview performances at 8 p.m. tonight and 7
p.m. Sunday. Previews continue at 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. The
play opens at 8 p.m. Sept. 23 and closes Dec. 8. Tickets are $26 for
previews, $45 for opening nights and from $32 to $36 for regular
